$75,000 for short term COVID19 community relief

Our current climate has negatively affected many people's lives. Earlier this year we saw AWA Members and the country come together to generously support bushfire victims and help get communities back on their feet.

Now with COVID-19, donations to our Philanthropic Partner's have significantly reduced, which has limited their impact. To do our part, we have pledged an additional $75,000 to these partners to help those affected by COVID-19. Funds will empower them to provide short term relief to the disadvantaged in our communities.

Over the coming weeks, we will forward information on how the Give Where You Live Foundation, PEACH, United Way Glenelg and Geelong Connected Communities have helped with these donations.

Our hope isn't only that this $75,000 goes a long way to having a positive affect on people's lives; we also hope other institutions big and small are inspired to think about what they can do.

We want to thank our Philanthropic Partners and those they provide grants towards for their vital work during this difficult time.

We especially want to thank our Members for making this possible! You banking with AWA, a social enterprise, allows us to do things like this to help the disadvantaged within our communities.
