We’re sure you are aware that the Reserve Bank of Australia has implemented three reductions in the Official Interest Rate since June 2019 totalling 0.75%.  Whilst the major banks and many others have only passed on a proportion of these reductions, at AWA we always aim to do the best that we can manage for our members.

Elaine Carbines joins AWA Alliance Bank as a Director of the Board.  Elaine, currently CEO of G21, brings with her a wealth of experience in politics and community initiatives. AWA has further reduced its Principal & Interest Owner Occupied Mortgage Loan rate by 0.21% effective 1 August 2019. Since July 2019 we have reduced our Principal & Interest Owner Occupied Mortgage Loan rate by 0.46%, this is more than all 4 major banks.
