Starting 15 May 2024, AWA’s branches will now open at 10am every Wednesday as we prepare for the transition from AWA to Beyond Bank. This adjustment allows our staff to undergo essential training, ensuring continued excellence in service for our members. Thankyou for your understanding during this transition period.

Member Survey Results 2018

Thank you to all members who took the time to give us feedback via our Member Survey. The results have been reviewed by the board, and by our staff, and will help keep us focused on the areas most  important to you as we continue to strive to offer you the best banking products and services.

We received 356 completed surveys, of which 89% were a result of the direct email sent to members.

We have taken on board your preferred philanthropic activities and have partnered with PEACH in Mandurah and Give Where You Live in Geelong to work on projects that assist the disadvantaged within our communities. Keep an eye on our website as we have an exciting community announcement to make in late July 2018.

Over 90% of respondents rated AWA as positive or extremely positive in the following areas:

  • Staff friendliness
  • Staff knowledge
  • Staff efficiency
  • Willingness to go above and beyond expectations
  • Ability to accommodate member needs

It is pleasing to receive this positive feedback as we strive to maintain the above standards as our point of difference between us and other financial institutions.

We have made some substantial investments into our online/digital banking services as research shows that this is where the future of banking is heading. We have also removed all transactional fees and charges and we no longer charge Personal or Mortgage Loan Application fees.
