AWA Alliance Bank Supporting THe Communities We Live In

AWA Alliance Bank (AWA) and East Belmont Cricket Club (EBCC) have had strong links over a number of years, which has resulted in a partnership similar to Basketball Geelong whereby AWA has been able to support their contribution to two major infrastructure projects (Change room and Practice Facility upgrades) at their home ground.

With co-contributions from the Federal Government, the State Government, the City of Greater Geelong and the Belmont Lions Sports Club (BLSC) the $1.15 million project will deliver new change room facilities at Winter Reserve which is shared by EBCC and BLSC.

In addition to this, EBCC and the City of Greater Geelong are contributing $140,000 towards a major  upgrade of EBCC’s training facilities.

This is another example of AWA delivering on its Social Enterprise strategy of supporting community initiatives that deliver a strong sustainable future for community groups.
