AWA was proud to support our partner, Give Where You Live at their Pitch Up Geelong 2022 event.  A total of $93,000 was raised for 3 great organisations.

Wellways Australia received $30,000 which will help to create successful programs and deliver much-needed community connection throughout Geelong and its surrounding LGBTIQ+ communities to improve mental health and social connection.

Hope Bereavement Care received $33,000 which will extend the Kids Grieve Too (KGT+) program, focusing on the supports young people need after significant periods of isolation. KGT+ will build resilience and peer connections through meaningful activity-based interventions involving music, art, camps, and sports, based on shared interests.

Little Dreamers Australia received $30,000 which will provide case management support for Young Carers within the Geelong region who face a myriad of complex challenges.
